Tower Cranes

With an average age of under 2 years old our Tower cranes are the newest and most technologically advanced fleet in Victoria. The choice to invest in and draw on the experience of the JOST brand in cranes was not a difficult choice. Franc Jost’s, the man behind JOST Cranes, has expansive experience in the concept, design and construction of world class tower cranes. We at MCG Cranes have a strong working relationship with Franc Jost and his support team.

MCG Cranes has in excess of 10 tower cranes in both Luffing (4 tonne at 60 meters) and Hammerhead (2.7 tonne at 75 meters) variety. We have also introduced to our fleet the gigantic JOST 616.32 Luffer. With a maximum 32tonne capacity and considerable 9.1 tonne at 60 meter radius it can easily accomplish the bigger jobs.

We inspect, service and report back to our clients monthly on each and every tower crane on their jobs. Every bolt, wire rope, jib section, sheave etc is checked by our service crew to give piece of mind to the hirer and workers on site. This also helps keep downtime of our cranes down to almost nothing. We have a service crew of crane electricians and gold class riggers on call 24 hours a day to keep your job moving.

We will be with you through all processes of your job. From initial planning, crane base installation, crane erection, installation of ties to the structure, climbing and disassembly our experienced team will be on site with you.

Mobile Cranes

Our mobile division is also rapidly expanding. With crane capacities starting at 13 tonne mobile cranes to 120 tonne crawlers and projects ranging throughout Victoria from Yea to Barwon Heads our cranes can handle any lifting needs. We can also plan any lift you may require no matter the complexity or size of job.
